I like how I'm just like, "here is a life update" and making it seem like I'm coming back to posting on a semi-regular schedule, but end up posting another one in like three months... Yeah, um, I'm sorry about that. Life just um, happened and I got really busy. I thought that a good post to do after leaving for a few months would be to do a life update, but my last post was that after being gone for a few months... Anywho, here is a post on something totally different for you to enjoy while I try and get my life back together to post on my semi-regular schedule :) Today, I decided to join The Young Writer's Workshop. If you don't know what that is, here is a link to their website because I stopped trying to explain what things are and honestly... I never truly explain what they are because... Don't ask me why The enrollment period has ended (today was the last day *cry*), but they open up the enrollment a few times a year. If you're interested, you can be added to their email list so that you can get all the latest information from them. I will warn you that they do email everyday... So yeah. I honestly don't mind it and quite like it
I'm actually really excited about this. I joined the YWW Academic track, which means that it could be a creative writing credit. I decided to go with this track instead of the normal one just because this is my senior year and there wouldn't really be any point in me doing this after I graduate. Even though it is a bit more expensive than the normal track, I'm glad that I decided to go with it Since today is only the first day on there and there are still some things that are locked for me, I've just been hanging out in the community tab for a few hours. The people on there have been amazing and it's been really nice to talk to them and get to know some more people my age that loves to write just as much as I do If you guys do want to join, I will warn you that it does cost money to join (if you haven't look at the website already). I believe it is $37 a month for the standard and $57 a month for the academic. They do have financial aid for families that aren't able to pay for the standard version, but none for the academic one that I could see. They do have a 20% discount if you do it annually, but I wasn't able to do it since I really didn't have the money to pay all that all at once I will definitely be giving more updates once I've been there longer and more things are open for me Peace out my dude and stay safe
