Hello and welcome to my little corner of the internet. I'm glad you've found me, and I can't wait for you to join me on my life's journey. Maybe you'll even learn something new?
Anyway, my name is Cora. For the record, I'm 18 years old and a freshman in college. Virginia is where I call home. Reading, writing, tennis, and, most importantly, learning about my faith are all activities that I enjoy.
I want to talk about that. I'm not afraid of saying that I'm a Christian. I wasn't forced to be a Christian by my parents, it was a choice that I decided to make. Yeah, I was born into a Christian family, but it was my choice to continue with my faith. If I decided to not be a Christian, I wouldn't listen in church. I wouldn't go to youth group. I wouldn't be on a Bible app. I wouldn't be reading my Bible daily. I chose this life; I chose to believe in this religion. I'm tired of people saying that I'm only a Christian because my parents are Christians, and I didn't have a say. Yeah, I didn't have a say when I was younger, and quite frankly I still don't, but if I didn't want to, I wouldn't be paying attention during the sermons. I would be thinking about any other crap that is going on in my life, but no. I decide to ignore my life outside of church and listen to the sermon that's being given. If you don't like that I'm a Christian, then you can leave and not read what I have to say. I don't need hate from people just because I'm a Christian.
Anywho, I wanted to say why I wanted to make a blog. I wanted a blog because I love writing. I love the aspect of writing something and that has an impact on people, whether it be my fiction writing or my blog posts. I want the things that I write to impact people. If I impact at least one person with what I write, then everything that I've done would be worth it. If I am able to help someone with the things that I write, well, that would honestly be everything to me. That'll mean that I'm doing at least something right. My mission in life is to help people, whether that be in person or over the things that I write. And how I do that is writing what's on my mind. Also, I just enjoy sharing my life and yeah. So, some posts may be random, but does that bother me... Nope.
