Choices are- choices are just irritating to be completely honest XD. I'm just not a fan of making decisions. Maybe because I don't like thinking about things for myself, or maybe I just don't have very many opinions. It's probably because I don't have very many opinions to begin with. I often frustrate people because I can never decide on anything fast enough. Decisions are hard sometimes. It can be as simple as picking what to eat for lunch, or it can be as important as choosing to let Jesus into your heart (baptism). That one isn't necessarily hard, or for me wasn't, but it is the biggest and most important decision that you could ever make. Oh wow, there is apparently a difference between choice and decision... I- I didn't know that until I looked it up like two seconds ago. Decision: The act of or need for making up one’s mind Choice: The right, power, or opportunity to choose Now, I don't know about you, but I have absolutely no clue what this means... Maybe I should keep reading the article and see. "With decision, it is more of a process orientation, meaning we are going through analysis and steps to eliminate (or, cut off) options. With choice, it is more of a mindset approach, meaning we have a perception of what the right or wrong choice may be". I think this makes things a bit more easier to understand. Maybe. Dude, but like, this seems too much for me to understand. This seems like they think that I would understand this. Maybe it's just because I just finished school and my brain is all dead and I just don't feel like trying to understand it all. If anyone else is just as confused as I am, maybe this will help you a bit... It helped a bit for me: "We can easily setup processes to enable the best decisions possible. The decisions can range in scope from being low impact to high impact, and we can build in checks and balances along the way in reaching a decision. It can be a thoughtful, thorough approach. With choices, we face opportunities – large and small – to select or choose an option. Although we may put thought into the larger choices we make, the smaller ones may be more instinctively made. We make choices based on our values, beliefs, and perceptions of where a selected one may take us. One of life’s responsibilities is centered here in that we need to spend time building our choice senses and systems". Oh well look at that, they have three key points for something. That something is that I have no freaking clue. I seriously need to read this word for word, buuuuut that would mean more work, and I really don't feel like doing that right now. Three key points:
Here, I'll just link the article here because I really don't want to read this, but you might want to, so here you go Ok, the real reason that I made this post was to ask for people's opinions. Not a lot of people will see this, but might as well put it in here because it's an excuse to make a post and because I just need all the excuses I can get to post more on here because I don't post all that much on here. I need people's opinions on something, so I'm going to have to ask for you to choose/decide because I still don't know the difference on which video is better. I got into this slight debate with a friend on which video was better, and I just wanted people's advice on it. So, all you gotta do is watch both videos and in the comments say whichever is your favorite or whichever you personally think is better. The right or the left video:
Ok, there you go, now choose!!!!
